The generosity and openness of these South American communities shown to Scientists nearly 25 years ago resulted in the discovery of the gene responsible for Huntington’s disease. This generosity has been the catalyst for so much important research to find treatments and a cure for Huntington's disease ever since. Follow their continuing journey and the search for a cure.
